Fabulous Vacation
From check in with Roberto to check out with Yeradin all was perfect with exceptional service. Beautiful room with fabulous ocean view. I cannot rave enough about the whole experience. My husband had been to Cozumel for years but this was my first time. Playa Azul made it memorable. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Excellent location, service and staff all around
Staff were very accomodating and helpful in giving us additional information for our trip. Staff were all very friendly and room was clean with a welcoming setup. Breakfast was delicious and the pool/beach were nice place to come to every evening during our stay. This stay exceeded our expectations.

What was the highlight of Hotel Playa Azul Cozumel
Excellent beach! I’d stay here again
The beach in front of this hotel is amazing. Crystal clear water and white sand. Relatively gentle water (easy to float in). The staff is very friendly. The hotel is very easy to find and is close to the airport and to the city center via taxi/rental car. It’s a very quiet area with no nightlife nearby so no need to worry about noise keeping you up at night. Excellent value for the price.
The hotel is clean, but it’s getting a bit old and could benefit from a remodel. For example, the tiles were very stained in the shower. Although it is cosmetic, it’s definitely noticeable. The beds are not bad, but also not great. The breakfast was fine, but nothing to write home about. There is a Westin next door with a very similar beach. If you want something a little more upgraded I’d recommend the Westin.
